Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is designed to address inequalities in the workplace and to contribute to sustained economic growth, development and social transformation.
Recognising historic workplace imbalances and the need to redress such an untenable situation, Balimali Africa fully supports the B-BBEE ideal and applies its principles in its business operations, targeting initiatives for management control, employment equity, skills development, preferential procurement, enterprise development and socio-economic development.
Balimali Africa aims to:
- The workforce is a true representation of the South African demographics
- Ensure development and training of all previously marginalised individuals
- Giving back to the local community by social-economic programmes & bursaries
According to the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, No. 53, 2003 Balimali Africa is 51% black owned and therefore a proud LEVEL 2 B-BBEE contributor.
